Why a hologram works in entertainment

For most visitors a hologram is the first time they see a life-size, floating image without glasses. An artist, host or character appears out of nowhere, moves freely in space and addresses the audience; thanks to the depth created by our light box it feels like an apparition, not a screen.

Does the hologram also work in a dark show environment?
That is where the image looks its best: the unit's own light box delivers a bright, deep image and the surroundings set the mood.
